Speech Therapy

Speech and language therapy is an Allied Health profession that provides care for children and adults with the following disorders or difficulties:

 Communication disorders
 Articulation difficulties
 Stuttering
 Speech and language delays
 Learning disabilities: dyslexia, dyscalculia
 Swallowing difficulties
 Feeding and eating disorders
 Voice disorders

The Speech Therapist offers an assessment in order to establish a diagnosis and elaborate an individual treatment plan, if required. She provides training and education to the family / caregiver and other professionals. She also works collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines and the school.
