Botox injections
During the procedure
Botox injections are usually performed in a doctor's office. Your doctor uses a thin needle to inject tiny amounts of botulinum toxin into your skin or muscles. The number of injections needed depends on many factors, including the extent of the area being treated.
After the procedure
Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours. This may help prevent the toxin from spreading to a different area. You can return to your normal activities right after the procedure.
Results
Botox injections usually begin working one to three days after treatment. Depending on the problem being treated, the effect may last three months or longer. To maintain the effect, you'll need regular follow-up injections.
Facial Fillers
Facial fillers are substances that temporarily soften wrinkles when injected into your skin. Injection of a facial filler is generally an outpatient procedure that's done under local anesthesia. The procedure takes up to an hour.
You might have mild discomfort, bruising and swelling for up to a week. After the swelling goes down, you might need a touch-up injection for best results. How long the effect lasts depends on factors such as the type of wrinkle and filler used.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections
PRP is 3-step procedure that involves having your blood:
1. Drawn from your arm
2. Placed into a machine that separates the platelets from the rest of your blood
3. Re-injected into you (only the part of your blood that contains a high concentration of platelets).
PRP can: reduce wrinkles, plump up sagging skin, get rid of deep creases, improve one’s complexion, diminish acne scars
There’s little to no downtime.
DermaPen Needling
Dermapen treats a wide range of skin conditions including acne scars, wrinkles, stretch marks and fine lines, at a fraction of the cost of other alternatives. With just a few treatments you'll see a noticeable difference in skin tightening, texture appearance, elasticity, and firmness.
