Dr. Rolf Soehnchen is a consultant dermatologist and allergologist from Germany with over 30 year of experience dealing with skin cancer detection & treatment, chronic skin conditions and aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Rolf Soehnchen, studied medicine in Munichand Hamburg and qualified as M.D. in 1982. He received his PhD doctorate in endocrinology from University of Hamburg. After a 2-year post doctorate fellowship at Memorial-Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York in cutaneous biology Dr. Rolf did a residency training at Munich University. During this time, he received a research grant by the German Research Council (DFG) for the development of artificial skin. From 1991- 1993 he had been named the lead clinician for surgical dermatology unit at the Free University in Berlin. In 1994 he was appointed as medical director of dermatology specialty hospital in Leichlingen, Germany and later established his own clinic, focusing on skin cancer detection and treatment, as well as chronic skin diseases. From 2006 until 2011, Dr. Rolf Soehnchen was working at the American Hospital in Dubai as chief of the dermatology section.

Aside from the dermatology qualification Dr. Rolf holds the German Board Certificate in allergology, as well as phlebology (vein treatment) and has qualified (DDA) in Tropical Dermatology and Teledermatology.
He received the DALM Diploma (Diploma in Aesthetic Laser Medicine) from Greifswald university in Germany. Dr. Rolf Soehnchen has over 20 years of experience in all kinds of aesthetic procedures in Dubai and Germany, including Chemical Peels, Botox (Botulinum toxin), PRP and Filler Injections.
In this capacity, he is the regular speaker and a member of the Faculty of The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine on topics of aesthetic dermatologyteachingdoctorsinthe MENA region and South East Asia
